On Wednesday, 13.06.2018 Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących in Nidzica celebrated its annual Sports Day. On this day there are no regular classes – instead, the whole school community does various sports and competes against each other for the title of the “Most Sporty” class.
This year, members of Erasmus+ FITS project introduced floor hockey as one of the sports disciplines practiced during the day – students were asked, among others, to stickhandle the balls and shoot on target. We were also honoured by the presence of the head of our municipal government – Mr Grzegorz Napiwodzki, who cheered on our students.
Everybody had plenty of fun and we hope to have more days like these in the future!

Under the supervision of Mr Ivailo Papov, project participants, along with other school students not directly involved in project activities, are meeting after school to teach others and practice floor hockey. Everybody is eager to try their hand at floor hockey and we all have a lot of fun!
Our project aims at combating exclusion and obstacles our students face, and facilitating inclusion of disadvantaged participants through sports and physical activity
